25 Sep The Door
Posted at 03:04h in poetry
I hadn’t seen the door before,
It wasn’t there last night.
Swinging wide its golden maw
And showing me the light.
A voice was calling from beyond
In sweet and silky tones,
To leave behind this Earthly bond,
No need for flesh and bones.
It wasn’t there last night.
Swinging wide its golden maw
And showing me the light.
A voice was calling from beyond
In sweet and silky tones,
To leave behind this Earthly bond,
No need for flesh and bones.
